Dr. Angell practices general urology and specializes in minimally invasive techniques to treat urological conditions. His expertise includes robotic, laparoscopic, and endoscopic management of prostate, bladder and kidney cancer, as well as minimally invasive treatments for ureteral disease, benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH/enlarged prostate), kidney stones and the medical and surgical management of erectile dysfunction including penile prosthesis.

 

He was elected to the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha National Honor Medical Society in 2006, and he received the Tauber Scholarship from George Washington University for two consecutive years.  While in medical school, Dr. Angell was elected to the Gold Humanism Honor Society, which is comprised of  individuals who have been recognized for practicing patient-centered medical care by modeling the qualities of integrity, excellence, compassion, altruism, respect and empathy.  During his last year of residency at Emory University School of Medicine, Dr. Angell was the urology chief resident. 

 

His honors also include the William Hollis Cooner Outstanding Urology Resident Award and the Outstanding Urologic Laparoendoscopic Resident Award, both from Emory University. 

 

Dr. Angell has published and presented numerous papers on a range of urologic subjects including robotics, endourology, laparoscopic approaches for distal ureteral strictures, renal pelvic tumors and prostate and kidney cancer. 

 

Dr. Angell grew up in Baltimore and graduated from Gilman School.  He is a member of the American Urological Association, the Endourological Society,  the Society of Laparoendoscopic Surgeons and the Alpha Omega Alpha National Honor Medical Society.

Dr. Robert Brookland is a board-certified radiation oncologist who earned his medical degree at Georgetown University School of Medicine. Following his internal medicine residency, he completed his residency in radiation oncology at the University of Pennsylvania where he was an American Cancer Society Fellow and served as chief resident.
 
After staff appointments in the Departments of Radiation Oncology at the University of Pennsylvania and the Fox Chase Cancer Center, Dr. Brookland relocated to Baltimore where he currently chairs the Department of Radiation Oncology at Greater Baltimore Medical Center (GBMC) and works with patients at the Chesapeake Urology Prostate Center.
 
In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Brookland has served as Chairman of Professional Education for the American Cancer Society and Director of Continuing Medical Education at GBMC. He has also served as Principal Investigator for the RTOG (Radiation Therapy Oncology Group).
 
Other research interests include published papers in the areas of breast and genito-urinary cancers. He has been a guest lecturer at Towson University and has appeared on area TV stations, national cable programs including CNN, and many radio programs. Dr. Brookland has been a member of the Medical Advisory Committee for the Governor's Cancer Commission, Maryland Board of Physician Quality Assurance, and Department of Health and Mental Hygiene. He served as Chairman of the Board for the American Cancer Society divisions in Maryland, Mid-Atlantic and South Atlantic and has testified in Annapolis for tobacco control legislation and mammography coverage. Dr. Brookland has been a member of the Baltimore County Medical Association Board of Governors, and chaired its Peer Review Committee.

Dr. Boyle specializes in male fertility and reproductive medicine including vasectomy, microsurgical vasectomy reversals, microsurgical varicocele repair, and all sperm retrieval procedures for IVF including microdissection testicular and sperm extraction.  She performs comprehensive evaluation and treatment of the infertile male, and works closely with reproductive endocrinologists. 

 

Dr. Boyle also focuses on male and female sexuality.  Her specialties also include male aesthetic procedures which include tumescent liposuction and liposculpting, correction of penoscrotal webbing, male pubic lift and liposuction to improve penile length perception, as well as female aesthetic procedures that include tumescent liposuction and liposculpting, Laser Vaginal Rejuvenation (LVR), Designer Laser Vaginoplasty (DLV), labiaplasty, and hymenoplasty.



In addition, Dr. Boyle works with male and female pediatric urology patients addressing such conditions as labial adhesion, male and female issues of external genitalia as well as sexual function in adolescents.

 

Dr. Boyle was selected as a "Top Doctor" in the Plastic Surgery Female Urology category by her peers in Baltimore magazine in 2011.

A frequent contributor to national publications such as Men's Health, Cosmopolitan and Playboy, Dr. Boyle was also a featured physician in the ABC TV documentary Hopkins, and appeared as a guest on Barbara Walter's The View. She is a medical expert for Good Morning America Health.  Dr. Boyle has also published extensively on topics including vasectomy reversal, male infertility and assisted reproductive technology, and has authored book chapters on Sexual Dysfunction, Treatment of Male Infertility and Urologic Surgery.

Dr. Chang practices general urology and specializes in male pelvic reconstructive surgery, ureteral injury and ureteral reconstructive surgery, urethral stricture disease and urethral reconstructive surgery.  Dr. Chang also focuses on kidney stone disease, erectile dysfunction, male incontinence and penile cancer.

During his residency at the University of Missouri, Dr. Chang was the chief resident in urology. Dr. Davalos has been a practicing urologist since 2005 and he treats all aspects of adult urology.  He focuses on kidney stone disease and specializes in treating complex stone conditions, and in providing comprehensive surgical, medical and preventive care for kidney stones with the treatment goal of rendering patients 100% stone free.  

 

Dr. Davalos  is one of a few physicians in the nation who utilizes Percutaneous Nephrolithotomy (PCNL) for the surgical treatment of large and complex kidney stones.  An expert in this treatment, Dr. Davalos has successfully completed almost 1,000 PCNL surgeries.  

 

Dr. Davalos also provides renal and prostate cryotherapy for cancer, laparoscopic techniques for renal surgery, and laser ablation and holmium laser enucleation for benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). 


Dr. Davalos also treats the rare upper urinary tract cancer. 

 

Prior to joining Chesapeake Urology Associates he was with the Charleston Area Medical Center (CAMC), in Charleston, West Virginia where he was director of the Kidney Stone Center, vice chief of the department of urology and a urology residency clinical professor.  Before CAMC he was in private practice and served as a clinical professor with the West Virginia University School of Medicine, Charleston Division.

Dr. Davalos serves as a product development consultant with industry leaders for the development of new medical devices.  Additionally, he has worked on advancing scope technology for the endourologic treatment of stones and other urologic conditions.

He has been an investigator in numerous research studies for the diagnosis and treatment of kidney stones.  Dr. Davalos has published articles in multiple medical journals and has presented at national meetings on subjects primarily related to kidney stone conditions and treatments.

Dr. Dickstein is a urologic oncologist who trained at the world-renowned MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas. For eight of the past 10 years, MD Anderson has been ranked No. 1 in cancer care in the "Best Hospitals" survey published by U.S. News & World Reports.

Dr. Dickstein focuses on all urologic cancers and specializes in open, laparoscopic and robotic surgeries. His expertise includes the treatment of bladder cancer (non-invasive and locally advanced), kidney cancer (small or locally advanced tumors), and prostate cancer (including primary and salvage surgery for complex cases). Dr. Dickstein also specializes in the treatment of testicular and penile cancers.

He has published numerous articles on urologic cancers in multiple medical journals and has presented at national meetings on subjects primarily related to bladder and penile cancers.

Dr. Dickstein received a Merit Award for the 2011 Genitourinary Cancers Symposium by the American Society of Clinical Oncology, was a first place winner of the Max K. Willscher Resident Research Award competition at the New England Section of the American Urologic Association, and he was presented with the Editor's Award of Excellence for an Original Study from the Uro Today International Journal. Dr. Dickstein was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. Dr. Dickstein was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society while he was in medical school.

Dr. Dietrick specializes in the treatment of prostate cancer, including da Vinci robot-assisted laparoscopic radical prostatectomy.  In addition, his focus includes medical and minimally invasive treatment of enlarged prostate (BPH), voiding problems in men and no-scalpel vasectomy.


His interest in cancer treatment began in the 1980s with work at the National Cancer Institute and continued through his years on the clinical faculty of Stanford Medical Center and the Johns Hopkins University Department of Urology.
 

Dr. Dietrick performed the first da Vinci robotic prostatectomy at a community hospital in Maryland in 2005 and has performed well over 500 successful operations since then, more than any other community urologist in Maryland. 

 

Dr. Dietrick served as Prostate Chair of the Maryland Chapter of the American Cancer Society, was awarded one of the first Young Leaders in Urology awards of the American Urological Association, and is a member of the American College of Physician Executives.  In addition, he has led and served on many quality improvement teams, medical boards and executive boards at several local hospitals. 

 

He was inducted ito the Healing Hands Guild by the University of Maryland St. Joseph Medical Center.  The Guild honors physicians who excel in their clinical skill and show an unwavering commitment to excellent and compassionate care.

Dr. Dowling's clinical practice is based at Franklin Square Hospital Center, where he is the Section Chief of Urologic Surgery. He also serves on the Executive Committee of Chesapeake Urology.

 

As a general urologist, Dr. Dowling has particular interest in the treatment of enlarged prostate (BPH), the surgical management of kidney stone disease and in the laparoscopic treatment of renal and ureteral tumors and urologic oncology.

Earlier in his career, Dr. Duncan was in private practice at Columbia Hospital for Women in Washington, D.C.

 

Widely published and a frequent lecturer and presenter on urogynecology and obstetrics and gynecology topics, Dr. Duncan has written and spoken on topics including laparoscopic urogynecology, pelvic organ prolapse, vaginal surgery, laparoscopic and robotic Burch procedures for the treatment of stress urinary incontinence, female sexual dysfunction, urinary incontinence, overactive bladder and bladder pain syndromes, lower urinary tract symptoms in women.

After his residency, Dr. Hudes joined the faculty at the University of Maryland Greenebaum Cancer Center and subsequently joined the staff of St. Agnes Hospital.
 
Board-certified in radiation oncology by the American Board of Radiology, he is a member of the American Society of Therapeutic Radiology and the American Brachytherapy Society.
 
Dr. Hudes has special expertise in brachytherapy for prostate, breast and gynecologic malignancies. Additionally, his clinical interests include image-guided radiation therapy with the Tomotherapy system as well as participation of clinical trials for a variety of cancer types. He is the principal investigator at St. Agnes Hospital for the Radiation Therapy Oncology Group (RTOG).
 
Dr. Hudes has authored a chapter on prostate tomotherapy for a medical textbook and co-authored several research papers. Dr. Huisman has extensive training in prostate surgery, endourology and management and treatment of stone disease, as well as the treatment of prostate cancer with minimally invasive surgery, brachytherapy. He pioneered the techniques of radical perineal prostatectomy and brachytherapy at Southern Maryland Hospital Center.

While at the Naval Academy, he was selected as Company Commander and was a member of the Phi Kappa Alpha National Honor Society. Dr. Mevorach is a fellowship trained, subspecialty board certified pediatric urologist who joined Chesapeake Urology in January, 2014, to direct the Chesapeake Urology For Kids program. He treats children from infants to 15 years who have urologic conditions and needs ranging from the common to the complex, including circumcision, hernias and hydroceles, hypospadias, retractile and undescended testicles, bedwetting, hematuria, scrotal pain and masses, recurrent urinary tract infections, bladder control problems and kidney stones. In addition, Dr. Mevorach consults on conditions diagnosed on screening sonogram examinations during pregnancy such as hydronephrosis and other urologic or renal concerns.

Prior to joining Chesapeake Urology, Dr. Mevorach served as a pediatric urologist and associate professor of urology and pediatrics at the University of Rochester Medical Center in Rochester, NY for 15 years. At the University of Rochester Medical Center, he also served as the director of clinical operations for the Division of Pediatric Urology.

From 1996 to 1999, Dr. Mevorach served as chief of pediatric urology and assistant department head of urology at Portsmouth Naval Hospital. During that time Dr. Mevorach was also a pediatric urology consultant at Langley Air Force Base Hospital and Womack Army Hospital, Fort Bragg.

Dr. Mevorach was chief of the Division of Pediatric Urology and assistant head of the Department of Urology at the Naval Medical Center in San Diego from 1994 to 1996, where he also was a consultant to Davis-Month Air Force Hospital and San Diego Children?s Hospital. Prior to that he was chief of urology at the Pensacola Naval Hospital, 1991-1992. During 1986 to 1991, Dr. Mevorach was a surgical emergency room primary physician at Rochester General Hospital, and from 1985 to 1991 served as a general medical officer in the United State Naval Reserve. Dr. Mevorach is a retired captain in the United States Naval Reserve.

He is a specialty reviewer for the Journal of Pediatric Urology, Journal of Urology and the International Journal of Urology and Nephrology. He also is a member of several national and international academic professional organizations including the American Urological Association, the Society of Government Services Urologists, the American Academy of Pediatrics, the Society of Pediatric Urology and the European Society of Pediatric Urology. He has served on the medical advisory board and the board of directors of the National Kidney Foundation.

A committed educator, Dr. Mevorach has presented at major national and international professional meetings, and has served as an instructor for clinical rotations in urology, family practice, and pediatrics. In addition, he has authored Internet content and is a published author of book chapters and peer reviewed journal articles on urologic and pediatric urology topics. Throughout his career, Dr. Mevorach has been involved in urologic and pediatric urology research studies. During his career to date, Dr. Mevorach has received many fellowship awards for clinical research, essays and presentations beginning with his first research fellowship from the American Diabetes Association in 1986.

In addition, Dr. O'Reilly also served as Medical Director, Madigan Urology Clinical Research Center and as an assistant professor of surgery at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences in Bethesda, MD.

Earlier in his military career, Dr. O'Reilly was an attending urologist and assistant residency program director at Tripler Army Medical Center in Honolulu, Hawaii, and prior to that, he was the general medical officer at Camp Stanley, Korea and the officer-in-charge at Camp Stanley Troop Medical Clinic.

Dr. O'Reilly was awarded the Army Commendation Medal, which is awarded to individuals for heroism, meritorious achievement or meritorious service, and the prestigious Expert Field Medical Badge, earned by only 15 percent of Army medical personnel.

Dr. Siegel is concurrently a partner with Chesapeake Urology and its President and CEO. He has been in private practice urology in the Baltimore area for more than 25 years. As President of Chesapeake Urology, he has built the practice into one of the country's largest and highest quality urology practices, and the largest in the Mid-Atlantic Region.

In 2006, Dr. Siegel initiated the Chesapeake Urology Associates Scholarship Fund in conjunction with the Central Scholarship Bureau to provide scholarship assistance to full-time students pursuing degrees in medicine, nursing and ancillary health fields.  He also established the Chesapeake Urology Associates/AUA Foundation Research Scholar program to fund urology research.

Dr. Smyth practices general urology with a special focus on prostate disease. Currently, he is leading a clinical initiative which combines 3D ultrasound and MRI fusion of the prostate to allow enhanced detection and treatment of prostate cancer.

 

In 1981-1982, Dr. Smyth studied at the Johns Hopkins School of Hygiene and Public Health in Reproductive Biology and worked in the Infertility Laboratory at the James Buchanan Brady Urological Institute.  From 1982-1986, he attended the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. Dr. Smyth moved to the West Coast in 1986 for six years of surgery and urology residency training in the Department of Urology at Stanford University. 

 

Dr. Smyth returned to Baltimore in 1992 to practice urology with J. Walter Smyth, M.D.  After his father retired, he helped lead the formation of Maryland Urology Associates PA (MUA), and served in several administrative capacities including president (1999-2001 & 2004-06). Following the merger of MUA with Chesapeake Urology Associates in 2006, Dr. Smyth has served in various capacities, including CFO and COO.  

 

He currently is a vice president of the company, leading several programs as Director of Integrated Care, Director of Physician Practice Development and Chair of the Physician Wellness initiative.

After staff appointments in the Departments of Radiation Oncology at the University of Pennsylvania and the Fox Chase Cancer Center, Dr. Brookland relocated to Baltimore where he currently chairs the Department of Radiation Oncology at Greater Baltimore Medical Center (GBMC) and works with patients at the Chesapeake Urology Prostate Center.

Dr. Boyle specializes in male fertility and reproductive medicine including vasectomy, microsurgical vasectomy reversals, microsurgical varicocele repair, and all sperm retrieval procedures for IVF including microdissection testicular and sperm extraction.  She performs comprehensive evaluation and treatment of the infertile male, and works closely with reproductive endocrinologists. 

 

Dr. Boyle also focuses on male and female sexuality.  Her specialties also include male aesthetic procedures which include tumescent liposuction and liposculpting, correction of penoscrotal webbing, male pubic lift and liposuction to improve penile length perception, as well as female aesthetic procedures that include tumescent liposuction and liposculpting, Laser Vaginal Rejuvenation (LVR), Designer Laser Vaginoplasty (DLV), labiaplasty, and hymenoplasty.



In addition, Dr. Boyle works with male and female pediatric urology patients addressing such conditions as labial adhesion, male and female issues of external genitalia as well as sexual function in adolescents.

 

Dr. Boyle was selected as a "Top Doctor" in the Plastic Surgery Female Urology category by her peers in Baltimore magazine in 2011.

A frequent contributor to national publications such as Men's Health, Cosmopolitan and Playboy, Dr. Boyle was also a featured physician in the ABC TV documentary Hopkins, and appeared as a guest on Barbara Walter's The View. Dr. Davalos has been a practicing urologist since 2005 and he treats all aspects of adult urology.  He focuses on kidney stone disease and specializes in treating complex stone conditions, and in providing comprehensive surgical, medical and preventive care for kidney stones with the treatment goal of rendering patients 100% stone free.  

 

Dr. Davalos  is one of a few physicians in the nation who utilizes Percutaneous Nephrolithotomy (PCNL) for the surgical treatment of large and complex kidney stones.  An expert in this treatment, Dr. Davalos has successfully completed almost 1,000 PCNL surgeries.  

 

Dr. Davalos also provides renal and prostate cryotherapy for cancer, laparoscopic techniques for renal surgery, and laser ablation and holmium laser enucleation for benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH).

Dr. Dickstein is a urologic oncologist who trained at the world-renowned MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas. For eight of the past 10 years, MD Anderson has been ranked No. 1 in cancer care in the "Best Hospitals" survey published by U.S. News & World Reports.

Dr. Dickstein focuses on all urologic cancers and specializes in open, laparoscopic and robotic surgeries. Dr. Dietrick specializes in the treatment of prostate cancer, including da Vinci robot-assisted laparoscopic radical prostatectomy.  In addition, his focus includes medical and minimally invasive treatment of enlarged prostate (BPH), voiding problems in men and no-scalpel vasectomy.


His interest in cancer treatment began in the 1980s with work at the National Cancer Institute and continued through his years on the clinical faculty of Stanford Medical Center and the Johns Hopkins University Department of Urology.
 

Dr. Dietrick performed the first da Vinci robotic prostatectomy at a community hospital in Maryland in 2005 and has performed well over 500 successful operations since then, more than any other community urologist in Maryland.

Dr. Duncan practices urogynecology and focuses on minimally invasive GYN surgery, female urinary incontinence and overactive bladder, pelvic organ prolapse and female fecal incontinence.  His areas of specialty also include abnormal uterine bleeding and fibroids, interstitial cystitis (painful bladder syndrome), chronic pelvic pain and vaginal birth injuries.

Dr. Richard Hudes earned his medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia, followed by an internship at Winthrop-University Hospital, NY. He then completed a four-year residency in radiation oncology at the Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, PA where he also served as chief resident. After his residency, Dr. Hudes joined the faculty at the University of Maryland Greenebaum Cancer Center and subsequently joined the staff of St. Agnes Hospital.
 
Board-certified in radiation oncology by the American Board of Radiology, he is a member of the American Society of Therapeutic Radiology and the American Brachytherapy Society.
 
Dr. Hudes has special expertise in brachytherapy for prostate, breast and gynecologic malignancies. Additionally, his clinical interests include image-guided radiation therapy with the Tomotherapy system as well as participation of clinical trials for a variety of cancer types. He is the principal investigator at St. Agnes Hospital for the Radiation Therapy Oncology Group (RTOG).
 
Dr. Hudes has authored a chapter on prostate tomotherapy for a medical textbook and co-authored several research papers. He is a reviewer of scientific manuscripts and participates with national professional societies in healthcare policy analysis. Before joining Chesapeake Urology in May, 2014, Dr. Huisman had been a partner with CHZ Urology (CHZ) since 1997. Prior to joining CHZ, he served as chairman of the urology department at the Naval Medical Center in San Diego. Dr. Huisman also served as a clinical assistant professor of urology at the Chicago Medical School, Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences, and at the University of California at San Diego Medical School. He previously served Southern Maryland Hospital Center as both chairman of the Department of Surgery and as the vice president of medical staff.
 
Dr. Huisman has extensive training in prostate surgery, endourology and management and treatment of stone disease, as well as the treatment of prostate cancer with minimally invasive surgery, brachytherapy. He pioneered the techniques of radical perineal prostatectomy and brachytherapy at Southern Maryland Hospital Center.
 
He is a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society and was elected to the American College of Surgeons in 1990. While at the Naval Academy, he was selected as Company Commander and was a member of the Phi Kappa Alpha National Honor Society. Bloustein Distinguished Scholar, the George H. Laufenberg Exemplary Scholar and the Outstanding Scholars Program.

 

Dr. Johnson has published and presented extensively at national meetings on topics including treatments and procedures for male, female and pediatric urologic conditions, and has authored book chapters on repair of urethral diverticulum, urodynamics, interstitial cystitis and other inflammatory conditions of the lower urinary tract.  She has authored grants, taught courses and presented her research across the country, and has been invited as an international speaker.

Dr. Kurnot treats all aspects of adult urology. His special interests focus on no-scalpel vasectomy, prostate cancer including percutaneous (non-surgical) cryosurgical ablation of the prostate for localized prostate cancer, and comprehensive treatments for advanced kidney stone conditions including percutaneous cryosurgery for large kidney stones. Dr. Mevorach is a fellowship trained, subspecialty board certified pediatric urologist who joined Chesapeake Urology in January, 2014, to direct the Chesapeake Urology For Kids program. He treats children from infants to 15 years who have urologic conditions and needs ranging from the common to the complex, including circumcision, hernias and hydroceles, hypospadias, retractile and undescended testicles, bedwetting, hematuria, scrotal pain and masses, recurrent urinary tract infections, bladder control problems and kidney stones. In addition, Dr. Mevorach consults on conditions diagnosed on screening sonogram examinations during pregnancy such as hydronephrosis and other urologic or renal concerns.

Prior to joining Chesapeake Urology, Dr. Mevorach served as a pediatric urologist and associate professor of urology and pediatrics at the University of Rochester Medical Center in Rochester, NY for 15 years. At the University of Rochester Medical Center, he also served as the director of clinical operations for the Division of Pediatric Urology.

From 1996 to 1999, Dr. Mevorach served as chief of pediatric urology and assistant department head of urology at Portsmouth Naval Hospital. During that time Dr. Mevorach was also a pediatric urology consultant at Langley Air Force Base Hospital and Womack Army Hospital, Fort Bragg.

Dr. Mevorach was chief of the Division of Pediatric Urology and assistant head of the Department of Urology at the Naval Medical Center in San Diego from 1994 to 1996, where he also was a consultant to Davis-Month Air Force Hospital and San Diego Children?s Hospital. Prior to that he was chief of urology at the Pensacola Naval Hospital, 1991-1992. During 1986 to 1991, Dr. Mevorach was a surgical emergency room primary physician at Rochester General Hospital, and from 1985 to 1991 served as a general medical officer in the United State Naval Reserve. Dr. Mevorach is a retired captain in the United States Naval Reserve.

He is a specialty reviewer for the Journal of Pediatric Urology, Journal of Urology and the International Journal of Urology and Nephrology. He also is a member of several national and international academic professional organizations including the American Urological Association, the Society of Government Services Urologists, the American Academy of Pediatrics, the Society of Pediatric Urology and the European Society of Pediatric Urology. He has served on the medical advisory board and the board of directors of the National Kidney Foundation.

A committed educator, Dr. Mevorach has presented at major national and international professional meetings, and has served as an instructor for clinical rotations in urology, family practice, and pediatrics. In addition, he has authored Internet content and is a published author of book chapters and peer reviewed journal articles on urologic and pediatric urology topics. Dr. Siegel is concurrently a partner with Chesapeake Urology and its President and CEO. He has been in private practice urology in the Baltimore area for more than 25 years. As President of Chesapeake Urology, he has built the practice into one of the country's largest and highest quality urology practices, and the largest in the Mid-Atlantic Region.

In 2006, Dr. Siegel initiated the Chesapeake Urology Associates Scholarship Fund in conjunction with the Central Scholarship Bureau to provide scholarship assistance to full-time students pursuing degrees in medicine, nursing and ancillary health fields.  He also established the Chesapeake Urology Associates/AUA Foundation Research Scholar program to fund urology research.

Dr. Smyth practices general urology with a special focus on prostate disease. Currently, he is leading a clinical initiative which combines 3D ultrasound and MRI fusion of the prostate to allow enhanced detection and treatment of prostate cancer.

She previously served as Chief of Radiation Oncology at Union Memorial Hospital and is currently in private practice. Dr. Zinreich has been with Chesapeake Urology since 2007.
 
Dr. Zinreich currently serves as an Assistant Professor in Oncology and Assistant Professor in Radiology and Radiological Services at The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. She has received a number of significant honors for her work in oncology and radiation oncology including the Clinical Scientist Award, Radiation Oncology Program at The Johns Hopkins University Oncology Center by The American Cancer Society, as well as the Distinguished Author Award by the American Society of Radiologic Technologists. Dr. Zinreich is an investigator with the Eastern Cooperative Oncology Group (ECOG) at GBMC/Hopkins and is a member of such professional organizations as the Maryland Radiological Society, The American College of Radiology, The American Society of Therapeutic Radiologists and the American Society of Clinical Oncology.

Dr. Zorn joined Chesapeake Urology in May 2014. He previously had been a partner with CHZ Urology (CHZ) since 2000. Prior to CHZ, Dr. Zorn served as Director of Female Urology and Urodynamics at Walter Reed Army Medical Center, and as Assistant Professor of Urology at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences in Bethesda, Maryland.
 
Dr. Zorn practices general urology and has special interest in the treatment of BPH and prostate disorders, male and female incontinence and stone disease.
 
While at CHZ, he enabled the practice and Southern Maryland Hospital Center to expand available treatment options including minimally invasive incontinence surgery and use of neuromodulation therapy for overactive bladder issues.
 
Dr. Zorn has served as the Mid Atlantic Editor for the Journal of Urology. He has served as an Assistant Professor of Urology at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences in Bethesda, Maryland.
 
Dr. Zorn has served as the Mid Atlantic editor for the Journal of Urology and has published articles in multiple medical journals.
