Message from Dr. Sanford Siegel

Sanford SiegelDear Friends,

With summer already upon us, it's only a matter of months before our 10th annual ZPCC (ZERO Prostate Cancer Challenge) race. If you know me, you know how passionate I am about this event and raising funds for prostate cancer research, education, awareness and free screenings, and I personally am inviting you to join me and our physicians and staff to this important and exciting event that will be held on Sunday, September 25, 2016! This year's ZPCC is especially gratifying as it is the10th anniversary of the race.

What started out as a single race in Baltimore to help raise funds for important prostate cancer research and programs in our community, has grown to become a premier event across 38 cities in the U.S., with many more committed for 2017.

We couldn't do it without your support, however. The money we have raised over the past decade has gone to fund prostate cancer research, free community screenings for more than 8,000 men in the Baltimore community, and education for thousands of people. In fact, since 2007, the ZERO-Prostate Cancer Challenge Baltimore has drawn more than 3,500 supporters each year and has raised over $3 million dollars for our signature cause – ending prostate cancer.

I hope you will be a part of the 10th anniversary, ZERO Prostate Cancer Challenge; I promise you will be happy that you joined us!  Come run, walk or just have fun enjoying nice music, good food and beverages, wonderful children’s activities, and talking with celebrities and prostate cancer survivors like Ken Griffy, Sr.  Visit with the 50+ vendors that will be participating, and help us meet our 2016 goal of raising $600,000.

Best wishes for a healthy and relaxing summer, and I look forward to seeing you at the race on Sunday, September 25 at Towson University’s Johnny Unitas Stadium!

Sincerely,
