Dr. Alice K. Tsao joins Chesapeake Urology Associates, expanding urologic oncology surgical services
BALTIMORE - Dr. Sanford J. Siegel, President and CEO of Chesapeake Urology Associates (CUA), announces the addition of Dr. Alice K. Tsao to its Glen Burnie and Pine Heights offices. As the nation's second largest urology practice, CUA offers broad urology services, including identification and treatment of a range of urologic cancers, laparoscopy and robotics surgery, which will expand with Dr. Tsao's expertise.
Fellowship trained in laparoscopy, endourology and robotics at the University of Pittsburgh, Dr. Tsao specializes in robotic and laparoscopic procedures for cancers of the kidney, bladder and prostate. Additionally, Dr. Tsao specializes in urologic procedures for ureteropelvic junction (UPJ) obstruction including pyeloplasties for UPJ obstruction, and robotic sacrocolpopexy for pelvic organ prolapse. Dr. Tsao will also treat patients for general urology needs.
Dr. Tsao received undergraduate honors from Johns Hopkins University and graduate honors from the University of South Florida. She completed her residency at the Mayo Clinic Department of Urology. Dr. Tsao received a number of awards during her training, including the International Volunteers in Urology Resident Scholar Award in 2005. Dr. Tsao is an active member of the American Urological Association and American Medical Association. She has been published in numerous urologic journals including "Contemporary Urology Supplements" (Volume 10) and "Male Sexual Dysfunction".
