Good News From Around Chesapeake Urology



  • Dr. AliChesapeake Urology’s Uropathology Lab Receives Re-Accreditation.  Chesapeake Urology's uropathology lab, under the direction of Tehmina Ali, MD, Chief Pathologist and Director of the Uropatholgy Lab received reaccreditation from the College of American Pathologists (CAP). This thorough inspection must be undergone by all accredited labs to ensure quality, safety and compliance with the accrediting body’s high standards. Chesapeake Urology’s uropathology lab was first accredited by CAP in 2013 and the inspection process is every two years.  

  • Upper Chesapeake Health Award Presented to Bel Air office Congratulations to our Bel Air office doctors and staff, 2014 Best Practice Award recipients from The University of Maryland Upper Chesapeake Health System. The UMUCH Physician Outreach team recently conducted its biannual Primary Care Provider (PCPs) survey of specialists and outpatient programs and services. PCP participation was high; a total of 59 providers participated in this confidential survey.
