Chesapeake Urology Donates to Bea Gaddy Family Center
Published On: 12/01/2014
Chesapeake Urology doctors and staff continued our tradition of giving back to the community by donating food items to support the Bea Gaddy Family Center (BGFC) in Baltimore. In total, over 1,600 pounds of donated food, along with 25 turkeys and 25 hams, and over $300.00, was delivered to the Bea Gaddy Family Center in time for their annual Thanksgiving meal.
Chesapeake Urology has supported the efforts of the Bea Gaddy Family Center for almost ten years. The Bea Gaddy Family Center assists over 3,000 families annually and provides a year round food pantry, 10,000 hot holiday meals, clothing, a homeless shelter program and counseling and referral services. All food donations go to the holiday meals and the year round food pantry.
