Dr. Karen E. Boyle joins Chesapeake Urology Associates as Director of Reproductive Medicine and Surgery, Sexuality, and Aesthetics

BALTIMORE - Dr. Sanford J. Siegel, President and CEO of Chesapeake Urology Associates (CUA), announces Dr. Karen E. Boyle as a new partner to the practice.  Dr. Boyle will focus on  male infertility, microsurgical vasectomy reversals, male sexuality (such as erectile dysfunction), female sexuality and male and female genital aesthetic surgery (such as laser labiaplasty and laser vaginal rejuvenation). As a Board Certified Urologic Surgeon, Dr. Karen E. Boyle will contribute to the advancement of the nation's second largest urology practice.

As Director of Reproductive Medicine, Surgery and Sexuality and Director of Chesapeake Aesthetic Surgery, Dr. Boyle creates a new dynamic in fertility and sexual health. This comprehensive approach treats the entire realm of reproductive and sexual health facing patients. "When people hear the term urology, they instantly think only about men and only about urinary problems," explains Dr. Boyle. "Many don't understand the depth and breadth our specialty encompasses and specifically how sexual health can be an indicator of broader health issues." Dr. Boyle also serves as Director of Male Fertility for nationally renowned Shady Grove Fertility Center.

Prior to joining Chesapeake Urology, Dr. Karen E. Boyle was an Assistant Professor of Urology, Obstetrics and Gynecology at The Johns Hopkins Hospital. She received her undergraduate degree from Harvard College, graduated with honors from AMC and completed her surgical training at The Brady Urological Institute, The Johns Hopkins Hospital. Dr. Karen E. Boyle then completed the prestigious fellowship in microsurgery, reproductive medicine and surgery at Baylor College of Medicine and has completed advanced training in cosmetic surgery. She has appeared in the ABC documentary, Hopkins, Barbara Walter's The View, and ABC News-Healthy Life and is a contributor to many national magazines.
