Dr. Nicholas T. Leone Joins Chesapeake Urology Associates

OWINGS MILLS, MD, AUGUST 5, 2009.....Dr. Sanford J. Siegel, President and CEO of Chesapeake Urology Associates (CUA), is proud to announce that urologist Nicholas T. Leone, M.D., has joined the practice.  

Dr. Leone received his undergraduate degree from the University of Delaware Honors Program and subsequently practiced as a registered nurse for three years.  He then attended Jefferson Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University where he was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society and graduated magna cum laude.  He completed his general surgery internship and urologic residency at Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, where he was honored with the Outstanding Educational Efforts in Urology Award as well as the Society of Laparoendoscopic Surgeons Resident Achievement Award.  Dr. Leone went on to complete the prestigious C.R. Bard Fellowship in Endourology, Laparoscopy, and Robotic Surgery at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital.

Dr. Leone practices general urology and specializes in advanced endourology and minimally-invasive laparoscopic and robotic surgery.  He has contributed to the professional reference guide, "The 5-minute Urology Consult," has authored numerous professional papers, and has presented at both national and international meetings.  He is currently board eligible.
