Chesapeake Urology Welcomes Matthew J. Sheldon, M.D.

Chesapeake Urology is pleased to announce that Matthew J. Sheldon, M.D. joined the organization on January 1, 2018 following three years with Florida Urology Partners, LLP, in Tampa, FL. He practices all aspects of general urology and has a special interest in urologic cancers, robotic urological surgery, enlarged prostate (BPH), kidney stones and erectile dysfunction. 

Dr. Sheldon received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Pittsburgh. He completed his Doctorate of Medicine at the University at Buffalo School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, and both his general surgery internship and urology residency at Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, D.C. 

Dr. Sheldon is a member of the American Urological Association, The American Association of Clinical Urologists, the Endourological Society and the American Medical Association. He has presented several abstracts on various urological conditions.

He is certified by the American Board of Urology.
