Great news for women with Interstitial Cystitis (IC)/Bladder Pain Syndrome (BPS) – Chesapeake Urology’s February 24th IC Support Group meeting will feature guest speaker Elizabeth D'Antonio, research coordinator for the new LiNKA clinical trial.
The LiNKA research study (conducted by Allergan, Inc.) is investigating the drug known as LiRIS® 400 mg to examine the safety and effectiveness of a continuous release of lidocaine inserted into the bladder compared with placebo for treating the symptoms of IC/BPS in female patients.
Elizabeth will provide details about the national study as well as answer your questions about the drug, criteria for participating in the clinical trial, how to enroll, and much more.
