Kevin B. Blumenthal, M.D.
Dr. Blumenthal's areas of clinical interest include innovative prostate treatments, procedures for men with enlarged prostate (BPH) and voiding dysfunction, and complex kidney stone management. Additionally, he is one of a few urologists in the Mid-Atlantic region certified in HIFU (non-invasive ultrasonic treatment of prostate cancer).
Most recently, Dr. Blumenthal served as a urologist at Central Maryland Urology Associates, where he was also the Director of the practice's HIFU Center. He has additional training in robotic surgery, receiving a daVinci Surgical System Certification.
Dr. Blumenthal was a clinical research fellow at the National Institutes of Health, and a research resident in the Department of Urology at The George Washington University.
Dr. Blumenthal was named a Super Doctor and was also voted as a "Rising Star" for DC/Maryland Top Docs.
