Ejaculatory Dysfunction
Men may experience problems with ejaculation and not be quite sure what the problem is. Ejaculatory dysfunction is complicated and can be divided into four categories:
- Premature ejaculation (PE)
- Delayed ejaculation
- Retrograde ejaculation (ejaculation occurs in the bladder)
- Anejaculation/anorgasmia (no orgasm)
Treating Ejaculatory Dysfunction
- Premature ejaculation, delayed ejaculation, and retrograde ejaculation may be treated with medical therapy.
- Ejaculation associated with certain conditions may require electroejaculation, which stimulates ejaculation. The semen can then be used for diagnostic semen analysis or Assisted Reproductive Techniques.
