Background

Beatrice Muma is a board-certified nurse practitioner in Chesapeake Urology’s Hanover office, working closely with the physicians to provide care for patients with ED, Peyronie’s disease (providing Xiaflex injections), prostate cancer, urinary incontinence including overactive bladder, urethral strictures, and managing bladder cancer patients with illeal loop conduits. Beatrice is also involved in the virtual metabolic stone disease clinic, providing telehealth consultations and appointments for patients with a history of kidney stones. She also specializes in female urologic health conditions and is involved in clinical trials.

Beatrice joined Chesapeake Urology in 2011 as a lead nurse in the Summit Ambulatory Surgery Center, St. Agnes Hospital location. In this role, she assisted with all urologic surgery cases. She also served as a Provenge nurse at Chesapeake Urology’s Infusion Therapy Center, working with patients with advanced prostate cancer.
