About This Provider

Meagan Dunne, MD, is a fellowship-trained urologist with a special interest in the surgical and medical management of kidney stones. She joined Chesapeake Urology in July 2021 after completing her fellowship training at the University of Maryland-Chesapeake Urology Endourology Fellowship Program. Dr. Dunne specializes in Percutaneous Nephrolithotomy (PCNL) and tubeless PCNL for the surgical treatment of large and complex kidney stones. She received her medical degree from The University of Maryland School of Medicine where she also completed a general surgery internship and urology residency.

Dr. Dunne’s research and work have been published in a number of peer-reviewed publications. She presented on ambulatory percutaneous nephrolithotomy at the 2019 AUA annual meeting in Chicago and the 2019 WCE meeting in Abu Dhabi, UAE. Dr. Dunne has also been involved in various research studies and papers with Dr. Julio Davalos on topics related to kidney stone treatments. She is the recipient of several recognitions including the Dr. A. Bradley Gaither Memorial Prize for Excellence in Genitourinary Surgery.
